When I first got my Bronco some of the panel indicator bulbs were burnt out. Ford intended for you to just replace the entire unit when a bulb failed. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard wanted around $35 for one assy. So, it was a simple decision to disassemble the unit and get a new bulb at Radio Shack. However, not wanting to need to replace the bulb anytime to soon I opted to use green LED's instead. Wiring them in groups of three behind each section of the indicators and using current limiting resistors I was able to replicate the light bulb. This will virtually never burn out, and consumes less energy.
